Kiwi was hatched 2003 in Cost Mesa California.

He is a lean, mean, green playing machine. Since the first day I brought him home he has been nothing but wonderful.

Don't get me wrong he tends to be a grump in the morning, and runs away when its time for a shower, and bites when it's bedtime, but hey that's what having a Parrotlet is all about.

Kiwi's hobbies include chewing, shredding, dancing, and climbing. He's a little acrobat and climbs all over his play gym when he's not chewing it.

Sweetie came into our lives in 2005.   She is Kiwis opposite; she is a gentle, shy little bird.

She enjoys swinging, ringing bells, and singing. You have to watch out for Sweetie though, although she appears sweet she is mischievous, and will sneak out her cage on any given opportunity

When she first came into our home she was very timid, she still is but will now step up on my finger and has no problem playing on the play gym and attacking the couch.

Kiwi and Sweetie are best friends. They follow each other around, preening each other and cuddling. This wasn't always the case, when Sweetie first arrived Kiwi was upset that there was a new bird in his home, and now after several months and some patience, they are now inseparable.
